Our casual relief teachers play a critical role in ensuring the continuity of an outstanding experience for our students.


We are  inviting applications from qualified Primary and Secondary teachers who are interested in casual relief teaching opportunities.


Please supply your CV and a brief general cover letter outlining why you would be a valuable addition to the Toorak team, as well as your subject areas and preferred days of work.

Relevant Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • An ability to respond to the differing learning needs and strengths of all students in coeducational classrooms (Junior School) and single-gender classrooms (Senior School)
  • Ability to develop positive rapport with staff and students and build collaborative working relationships
  • Outstanding knowledge of the relevant subject material and pedagogy
  • A working knowledge of Google suite products and technology
  • VIT registration essential.


Remuneration will be in accordance with the Toorak College Teaching Salary Scale.
